A teenager faces a Dealing Resulting in Death charge in the death of a teenager in Carmel.

Police found the 17-year-old female dead just before 6AM back in September of last year. 

Detectives say they discovered the teenager and another individual crushed two pills and snorted them. The victim got 2 doses of Narcan but she did not survive. 

19- year-old Gabriel Evans is believed to be the person who sold the victim two Percocet pills for 20 bucks. Police say the 17-year-old picked them up with Evans at an Extended Stay hotel in Indianapolis. 

Police found 469 pills marked with M-30. 42 of them contained fentanyl at Evans' supplier's hotel. It appears the supplier is facing federal charges. I am still investigating. 

According to an autopsy report, the juvenile victim died of a Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Intoxication within minutes.

The maximum penalty for the charge is 40 year in prison.
