A National Youth Service Corps NYSC member was allegedly beaten by a teacher at Government Day Junior Secondary School, Kulende, Ilorin, Kwara State.
According to eyewitnesses, who disclosed to Kwárà Eaglet NG on Facebook said the incident occurred when the corps member visited the school to collect her clearance. A teacher at the school allegedly accused the corps member of not greeting her properly, leading to the physical altercation.
The corps member, whose identity has not been disclosed, was reportedly beaten by the teacher, sparking outrage among colleagues and students.
The incident has raised concerns about the safety and well-being of corps members serving in the state.
Efforts to reach the school authorities and the NYSC state coordinator for comment were unsuccessful at the time of filing this report.
