1. Travel Document (Passport)

• a. Evidence of financial support: This includes the sponsor’s bank statements and at least three months of payslips to prove they can support themselves and you during your visit.

 

• b. Proof of relationship: If the sponsor is a family member or employer, provide evidence such as a birth certificate showing the relationship (e.g., parent or child).

 

• c. Sponsor’s UK documents: If your sponsor is in the UK, provide their British passport or residence documents.

 

• d. Invitation letter: A clear letter from your sponsor stating the reasons for your visit.

 

• e. Proof of the sponsor’s address: This could be a bank statement or a house rent or utility receipt.

 

• f. Invitee’s data page: Include the photo page of the invitee’s passport.

3. If You Are Under 18

• Provide a legal document (e.g., a birth certificate or adoption papers) showing your relationship with at least one parent or guardian.

 

• Include a copy of the photo page of one parent or guardian’s passport, showing their signature and passport number (if they’re not applying for a visa with you).

4. If You Are Over 18 but Depend on a Parent or Guardian

• Submit additional documents showing your parent or guardian is aware of your travel plans and consents to your travel.

 

• Provide a signed letter from your parent or guardian detailing your travel arrangements, including their permission for you to travel and your travel plans.

5. If You Are Sponsoring Yourself

• Provide evidence of your financial ability to support your trip.

 

• Show proof of ties to your home country to confirm your intention to return, especially for younger applicants. This could include:

 

• A leave approval letter from your employer stating the dates of your trip.

 

• Other documents proving ties to your home country.
