“I’ve been married before, and it’s one thing I regret most in my life. Marriage looks beautiful from the outside, but once you’re inside, things change. People seem perfect until you sign papers committing to spend your lives together. I married my ex-wife even though she already had a daughter with another man. I thought she’d understand life better, but I was wrong.
It only took a year of marriage for me to realize I couldn’t stay with someone for life, but by then, we had a daughter together. We divorced, reconciled, and tried to make it work, but it still didn’t last.
When my daughter brought a man to introduce him as the one she wanted to marry, I spent weeks trying to convince her think about her decision again. But she insisted that she loved him. I loved her mother too, but today, we’re practically strangers. Still, I have to make my daughter happy by supporting her choice, hoping she can be a better wife to her husband.”
