Paul Chukwuma Inaugurates Youth Governing Council to Boost Youth Participation in His Campaign

In a bold move to galvanise youth participation, Sir Paul Chukwuma, a frontline All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for the 2025 Anambra State Governorship election, inaugurated the Youth Governing Council of his campaign on Saturday, November 16. The event at his primary campaign office marked his first official visit to the premises.

During the inauguration, Sir Paul, popularly known as Onwa Umueri, reiterated youths and women's critical role in driving successful global movements. He described them as the “engine of any effective campaign” and charged the newly inaugurated seven-member council to demonstrate unwavering commitment, dedication, and synergy in their roles.

Hon. Jideofor Ejimofor, the State Youth Leader of the APC, chairs the Youth Governing Council. Other members include Hon. Ikedinobi J. Rapuluchukwu (OnyeOzioma Oseburuwa), representing Anambra South; Hon. Nwakaibie Okagbue, representing Anambra North; Hon. Peter Aboy Obah, representing Anambra Central; Hon. Divine Ngobidi (The Boy is Good), Director of SPC Youth Coalition; Hon. Nonso Nwaebili, Deputy Director of Youth Coalition; and Hon. Joseph Okonkwo, Secretary of the Youth Coalition.

At the event, Sir Paul emphasised the council’s responsibility to mobilise youths across Anambra State. He tasked them with ensuring full youth participation in primary and general elections. “This is a call to action,” he said. “You must harness the energy and creativity of our youths to secure a resounding victory in 2025.”

His Campaign Director General, Hon. Ifeanyi Ibezi (Ochiagha), Campaign Secretary Barr. CJ Chinweuba (Ogbunaechendo) and other senior campaign officials flanked him. Sir Paul highlighted the importance of unity and collective effort in achieving their goals.

Hon. Ejimofor assured Sir Paul and the campaign council of the team’s dedication in his acceptance speech. “We are committed to ensuring active youth participation in this electoral process,” he said. “Anambra youths, especially those in APC, are ready to work tirelessly to secure victory for Sir Paul Chukwuma in the 2025 gubernatorial election.”

The inauguration underscores Sir Paul’s strategic focus on youth engagement, positioning them as a driving force in his quest to govern Anambra State.
