A UK-based Nigerian man proudly shared a story about his wife, referring to her as a “gem” and revealing how she supported him for a year when he was jobless and ill.
In a post on his page on the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, he discussed money issues in marriage while sharing his personal story of his wife’s unwavering support.
Reflecting on his wife, he mentioned a period when he was ill and unable to work. During this time, which lasted about a year, his wife handled all expenses.
His statement read: “Reading tweets about money issues in marriage, all I can say is, GOD BLESS MY WIFE 🙏🏾🙏🏾. I didn’t earn a penny for over a year because of illness.”
“Money was never an issue. As soon as she was paid, the first thing she’d say was, ‘Babe, they have paid us.’ I married a GEM.”
